Keller is closely connected to the communities where we live and work, especially in Alberta. Over the past six decades, we’ve looked for ways to give back whenever we can, both through monetary support from charitable groups and organizations and through the volunteer hours of our team members.

In recent years, under the leadership of our Chairman, John Cameron, Keller has taken a particular interest in supporting organizations that provide essential mental health resources. John has been outspoken about his family’s struggle with mental health and has been inspired by his deeply personal experiences to support others who are facing similar battles.

Changing Lives Foundation

In 2009, John Cameron’s commitment to supporting mental health led him to establish the John Cameron Changing Lives Foundation, which is dedicated to advancing mental health awareness and improving the accessibility of support. The Foundation undertakes several fundraising events, including the popular Singing Christmas Tree and CRESCENDO concerts in Edmonton and Calgary. These spectacular concerts invite audiences to enjoy popular songs performed by local talent and are interspersed with stories of mental health struggles, resiliency and hope. Funds raised through the Foundation are directed to research, organizations and programming that help those living with mental health challenges. The Foundation is keenly interested in addressing the growing need for more resources for adolescent mental health. In 2019, the John Cameron Changing Lives Foundation was the recipient of the Momentum Mental Health Award in Community Organization.
