The John Cameron Changing Lives Foundation is looking for a Marketing and Administrative Assistant to join their team. This will be a great career challenge, will take someone who is truly passionate about charitable foundations, bringing stories to life through media, and making a positive impact in the community through music and amazing events!


You will be THE Marketing and Administrative Assistant of the Foundation and will be instrumental in growing the exposure of an already successful and well-regarded endeavour.


This will be a fast paced and dynamic role. It will have elements of autonomy, and also engagement with a larger team. While reporting directly to the CEO, John Cameron, the Marketing and Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting with developing, implementing and executing the marketing and social media plan for the John Cameron Changing Lives Foundation, while also offering administrative and office support to the Foundation. This key role will help to increase the Foundations media and market exposure, resulting in a more committed, larger client and supporter base and contribute to the future growth of the Foundation and its activities.


We are looking for someone who is willing to fully embrace the following accountabilities:


  • Social Media Strategy Development, Implementation and Execution
  • Assisting and Office Administration
  • Sales & Sponsorship support
  • Advertising
  • Event Planning & Hosting


In addition, your existing knowledge and experience will be a significant factor in your success in this role and the impact you can bring to the John Cameron Changing Lives Foundation and some of its marquee events, such as CRESCENDO and The Singing Christmas Tree.
