Job Purpose:

While reporting to the Site Superintendent, Labourers ensure that high quality performance and compliance to project standards is maintained while following safety and industry protocols.

Accountabilities:

  • Site Safety
  • General Construction and Repair
  • Site Maintenance

Position Description:

  • Accountable for following Keller and client safety requirements and practices
  • Work closely and communicate with the Superintendent on a regular basis to ensure your site operates smoothly
  • Maintain a visible and engaged presence on the site and act as a leader in safety
  • Ensure worksite is kept clean and orderly
  • Work efficiently, responsibly, and professionally and maintain positive relationships with all project stakeholders and employees on site
  • Concrete form work
  • Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials
  • Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
  • Help erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes
  • Operate Mobile Equipment safely
  • Perform general labour on site as needed

Desired Background

  • Retail Petroleum construction experience and knowledge of POST is an asset
  • Must have reliable means to commute to and from work daily
  • A minimum of 3 years demonstrable work experience in retail petroleum and commercial construction
  • Current AWP, Fall Arrest, First Aid are assets
  • Certifications in operating mobile equipment is an asset
  • Ability to work weekends is required
